About the System
The Lagos State Criminal Information System (LSCIS) is the official, government-mandated digital repository for criminal and crime-related intelligence in Lagos State, Nigeria.
Developed under the Lagos State Ministry of Justice, the system captures comprehensive data for both suspected and convicted individuals — enabling investigative agencies, prosecutors, and courts to access verified, up-to-date criminal profiles at the point of need.
Access is strictly restricted to authorized personnel of approved government agencies. All activity is audit-logged and monitored in compliance with Federal and State law.
"The LSCIS represents Lagos State's commitment to data-driven criminal justice — ensuring that every authorized agency has the intelligence needed to protect the lives and property of all residents."

System Capabilities
A comprehensive suite of tools designed for authorized law enforcement, prosecution, and judicial personnel across Lagos State.
Centralized repository of individual criminal profiles — arrest history, convictions, charges, sentencing, and release records, searchable by name, NIN, fingerprint, or case number.
Fingerprint and facial recognition linkage via BIMS API enables rapid, tamper-proof identity verification, eliminating alias fraud and ghost records across agency databases.
End-to-end monitoring of case progression — from charge filing through magistrate or high court hearings, to judgment, sentencing, and appeals — linked to the Lagos State Judiciary.
Secure, role-based data exchange between the Police Force, EFCC, DSS, NDLEA, NSCDC, Immigration, and the Judiciary — no more siloed intelligence.
Automated notifications triggered by wanted-person matches, parole violations, re-arrests, or cross-LGA movement flags — delivered to relevant authorized officers instantly.
Every query, export, and update is time-stamped, user-attributed, and immutably logged — ensuring full accountability and compliance with the Cybercrime Act 2015 and NDPR.

A structured, four-step workflow ensures every query is authenticated, accountable, and properly documented.
